Proper Chicago proto-house from Salerno. At this point, southern Italy's Giovanni Damico is basically an honorary Chicago native. I don't think he's ever been to Chicago, but he certainly has status on all sides of the City. This next 7' further cements that legacy and reputation. Outside of the first generation Warehouse / Music Box / Power Plant attendees, Giovanni just seems to get it while expanding and innovating. That perfect blend of tracky Italo early drum machine 'Bang The Box' type of proto-house electro soul. I lost track of how many records he's done with Star Creature now, but what a dynamite combo. For the first time on 7', Damico's epic 'The Power' gets an edit ready to be stuffed into your Tucker & Bloom and carted all over the world. B Side hits us with an insane wobbly analog proto-electro perfect for dance floor exorcisms. Full pic sleeve 7'.Tracklisting:A. The PowerB. Analog Session
