DaRand Land spreads out and shows off his unique brand of euphoric and uplifting deep house on his debut EP for Scissor & Thread, Discover You. The title track is classic DaRand Land, with bright piano chords, buzzing organs and a thick Chicago house bassline. Frank & Tony apply their signature style onto the former track, adding a chunkier kick with bright-as-day claps and hi-hats. Next is the atmospheric, peak-time Detroit house cut, "Souls Awash". Closing the EP is "Marcela's Sense", a blissed-out, head down late-night affair - cosmic pads swirl around glistening keys and repressed organ chords.
Tracks:
1.1 A1 Discover You
1.2 A2 Discover You (Frank ; Tony's Breakaway Remix)
1.3 B1 Souls Awash
1.4 B2 Marcela's Sense
