This remastered edition, limited to just 500 copies, is a must-have for metal collectors and fans of the genre.Destiny's End, formed by former New Eden members Dan DeLucie, Nardo Andi, and Brian Craig, alongside guitarist Perry Grayson (Isen Torr) and the iconic James Rivera of Helstar, delivers a dark, riff-driven masterpiece with Transition. The album sees the band moving away from the thrash influences of their debut, embracing a purer, more refined power metal sound. Rivera's vocals are at the forefront, offering a mature and controlled performance that echoes his work on Helstar's Nosferatu.Transition is a true gem of the US power metal scene, offering relentless energy, intricate guitar work, and an unwavering commitment to quality throughout it's runtime. Standout tracks like "From Dust to Life" and "First You Dream, Then You Die" exemplify the band's ability to craft memorable, galloping riffs paired with haunting melodies. The album's dark atmosphere and consistent songwriting make it a standout in the genre, earning it's place among the finest USPM albums of the 21st century. This limited edition reissue has been meticulously remastered by Rob Colwell to bring out the album's full sonic potential. The package includes a 12-page robust lyrics insert, housed in a jewel case, and is elegantly wrapped in a collector's cardboard sleeve/O-Card, adding an extra layer of sophistication to this already essential release.Whether you're rediscovering this classic or experiencing it for the first time, Transition is a powerful reminder of Destiny's End's impact on the power metal genre.
