Don’t Cry For Me Argentina is one of the most iconic songs in musical theatre history. Written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, the song was first performed by Julie Covington on the original 1976 concept album of Evita. It has since been sung by Madonna, Sinéad O’Connor, Elaine Paige and now recorded by Hollywood and Broadway sensation, Rachel Zegler, ahead of her run playing Eva Perón at the London Palladium directed by Jamie Lloyd (director of the Tony Award winning SUNSET BLVD on Broadway). The track is produced by Tim Bran & Andrew Lloyd Webber. The single will be released digitally as well as on Argentinian Blue 7” vinyl.
