Person to Person' is the second album from LA's moody popsters Foreign Born. Best described soundwise as a cross between Echo & the Bunnymenand Deerhunter, it's probably clearer to say it's what the Walkmenwould sound like if they weren't afraid to go out in shorts and thongs. The songs are propelled by Benga-flavored beats, fuzzed-out synthbass, clucking tropical cowbells - from soaring horn sections to emotive string arrangements.
Tracks:
1.1 Blood Oranges
1.2 That Old Sun
1.3 Vacationing People
1.4 Winter Games
1.5 Early Warnings
1.6 Can't Keep Time
1.7 Lion's Share
1.8 It Grew on You
1.9 See Us Home
1.10 Wait in This Chair
