Alluring vocals, shredding lyrics and an optimistic melody are the meat and potatoes of Tirvarrus & God's Project introductory effort, titled "I'm Trying to Be". a spiritual, gospel album capable of leaving fans applauding, with their jaws on the floor; college students quivering and seniors feeling hip for a second or two, this album is as pure and heartfelt as it gets. Combine layers of instrumentation fronted by Tirvarrus trademark of worn in-your-face voice and sophisticated pop praise, these young men are able to combine the smarts of traditional with the boldness of contemporary while appealing to indie, christian, and mainstream fans alike. Tirvarrus & God's Project has shared the stage with Crystal Aikin, Dottie Peoples, Lee Williams, and other national touring artists.
