This is the soundtrack to 'carla cametti pd', a fast-paced and fresh Australian crime series with a young Italian female as it's lead. Carla's lively Italian family and her flirtation with a police inspector are juxtaposed with the brutality of the gangland wars in Melbourne. This is not just a gritty gangster drama, there's also romance and comedy. It's playful, sassy and different to many crime shows on tv at the moment, and will be one of sbs's flagship programs in q1 2009. The soundtrack features popular Italian tracks alongside some quirky pop numbers and a magnificent score.
