Francine Reed - Early Solo Recordings & Unreleased 80s Masters - CD [ Record ]
In 1985, Francine Reed began recording and touring with Lyle Lovett as his very popular ‘foreground’ singer. She would not release her first solo albums until the mid-90s; however, she did record solo material prior to her first official albums, that until now, has remained “in the can” and unreleased. Two of the songs on this CD were released very briefly on a 45. Other than that, none of these recordings has ever been released before. And herein is Francine’s first known solo recording of her signature song “Wild Women Don’t Get The Blues”.
